Monday 16th April
Tonight we set up
a poker game for the cast and crew; this was largely to teach everyone how to
play poker. This proved to be very useful as it ensured the cast could play the
game ion a believable way. It also gave us a chance to discuss the best way to
film a poker game.
The cash game made
us realize how different people play when they are betting
with their own money. Even a game with a £5 buy in made people play
as if their life savings were on the table. The game ended with Phil (who was
£20 up) getting drown into a hand with Lawrence and with a pot of
about £40 lost his profit.
